Lake Lanier Stripers on Top.Report Date: November 7, 2008
Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Shane Watson Guide Service Friday Report. I've had boats out everyday this week and the stripers were very good earlier in the week. Mon, Tues, and Wed, mornings the striper fishing was very good. They schooled on top 2 to 3 hours at a time and would bit a white Sebile, a 2 inch McDonalds straw under a water float, a weightless fluke, and freelined trout well. Yesterday morning and this morning, all of my boats got on rolling fish, but they were a little tougher to catch. We all caught fish up to 15 pounds on freelined trout, u-rigs, white Sebiles, and a bone super spook. This report is brought to you by Shane Watson Guide Service and Hammond's Fishing Center.
