Stripers up on the bank.

Report Date: November 3, 2008

Water Temperature: 62
Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater

Shane Watson Guide Service Monday Report. The boats that I had out on trips this weekend had some decent schooling action Saturday and Sunday morning. They also caught stripers on downline trout fished 50 feet deep in the mouths of southend creeks, once the fish went down. This morning (Monday) we found good schooling about 7:30 and we followed those fish around for about an hour or so. Not much size to them, but it was still fun. My customers caught all of our fish on white weightless flukes and freelined trout. The fish were relaxed and were staying up for decent intervals, rolling close to the boat. At times they were up rolling right on the bank in a foot or two of water. This report is brought to you by Shane Watson Guide Service and Hammond's Fishing Center.
