Shane Watson Guide Service Report (2-17-09). A couple of us spent the last week in Miami for our boat sponsors. We did not get to fish while we there, but it was great to see plenty of water, a thriving economy, and air temps in the mid 80's. While I was gone, I had boats out on trips everyday and they said the fishing had been good. All of our boats have been catching stripers on freelined bluebacks, leadhead flukes, spoons, and on Capt Mack's u-rigs. Downlines have been slow. Mid-lake and further north have produced best. They said the fish have been rolling on top with and without birds. I'll be back out on trips the next 3 days and I will report again if I see or find out anything different. This report is brought to you by Shane Watson Guide Service and Hammond's Fishing Center. Good Fishing.
